Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Drivers Mate in Huthwaite to assist a driver with the delivery of bulky white goods to homes across the Midlands. The role is full-time, temporary with potential permanency after qualifying period, and starts between 5am and 7am with about 10-hour days.

You will unload goods at customer properties, handle loads safely, and provide a professional service while accumulating 3–5 drops per day. The position offers ongoing work with a route-focused delivery team.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to handle heavy items (50–175 kg) and perform joint lifts.
• Awareness of health and safety practices when manually handling loads.
• Confident communicator with good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist driver with manual handling and delivery of large, bulky items.
• Unload white goods to domestic properties across the Midlands.
• Make 3–5 drops per day and interact with customers on-site.
• Support a professional service at each property.
