Job summary

Flexible People Ltd is recruiting for a 7.5t Home Delivery Driver in Ipswich. You will deliver large and heavy goods directly to customers’ homes, often with a Driver’s Mate, and handle items like TVs, furniture and white goods. Training is provided.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, CPC, and tachograph, with a 6-point maximum. Regular heavy lifting, 06:00 starts, 8–10 hour shifts, and a 5–6 day rota including weekends are typical. A permanent contract may be offered after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence
• Valid CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No DD, DR or NI convictions
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy products
• Good communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver large and heavy goods directly to customers' homes
• Work with a Drivers Mate to complete deliveries
• Deliver products into customer rooms
• Handle products safely and use manual handling where required
• Maintain on-time delivery and excellent customer service
