Job summary

Tulloch Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Labourer to join a busy Bulk Plant and Warehouse team in the energy sector. Training will be provided on specialist equipment, plant operations and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will assist with stock preparation, brine mixing, quayside operations and general labouring, contributing to smooth day-to-day operations while upholding high health, safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Previous labouring, warehouse or industrial experience.
• Driving licence.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable with a flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing stock, including palletising, shrink-wrapping, loading and unloading containers.
• Support the mixing of brines, including handling product sacks and taking sample weight measurements.
• Assist with loading and unloading vessels at the quayside and transferring products to and from storage tanks.
• Help with the filtration of returned customer fluids.
• Learn to operate bulk plant equipment, including valves, hoses and pumps.
• Prepare customer orders from written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure materials are stored safely.
• Assist with stock reporting and maintaining accurate records.
• Carry out general labouring duties as required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with company Health & Safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to maintain the appearance and organisation of the warehouse, yard and quayside facilities.
