Job summary

Crem Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Plant Operator for a specialist manufacturing environment in the United Kingdom. The role involves safe operation of plant equipment, production of materials, and adherence to health and safety procedures.

You will work as part of a small team to meet production targets and maintain quality standards while following PPE and safety rules. Own transport is essential for site access.

Qualifications

• At least four GCSEs at grade C or equivalent.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of working safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Strong focus on health, safety and following procedures.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Positive, flexible, team-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manufacture, dry and pack materials to production requirements.
• Take production samples for quality control testing.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures, including handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to meet production deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Support other departments when required.
