Job summary

Tulloch Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Plant Operator in Aberdeen to join a team handling warehouse and brine plant operations safely and efficiently, ensuring high service levels for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities include palletising stock, loading/unloading, operating bulk plant equipment, forklifts, and maintaining records. Relevant forklift certification and a clean driving license are preferred; oil & gas experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Forklift truck certification (B2) preferred but not essential.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and shows initiative.
• Clean driving license is essential.

• Prepare stock by palletising, shrink-wrapping, and loading/unloading containers.
• Load/unload vessels at the quayside to/from storage tanks.
• Filter returned fluids from customers.
• Operate bulk plant equipment such as valves, hoses, and pumps.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Prepare customer orders according to written or verbal instructions.
• Maintain plant and warehouse stock records (e.g., Daily Brine Movement reports).
• Ensure vehicles and forklifts remain in safe operating condition.
• Maintain general housekeeping and good order of warehouse and quayside facilities.
• Promote a positive work ethos and encourage worker consultation and participation.
