Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Greater Manchester is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to perform scheduled maintenance on M&E systems at a busy Manchester site. The role requires diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs efficiently, and supporting urgent on-site repairs to minimise disruption.

The position offers on-site work, 40 hours per week, and a potential on-call rota approximately every four weeks, with access to healthcare, pension schemes, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining building systems across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency responses approximately once every four weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Diagnosing faults and fixing issues quickly to prevent disruptions
• Responding to urgent repairs and troubleshooting on-site problem
• Monitoring systems using Building Management Systems (BMS) and ensuring safety procedures are followed
