Job summary

Facilities Management Intrapreneur Ltd in the Southampton area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct and coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle—from planning through transition to post-project support.

The role focuses on working within predetermined estimates and timelines and ensuring quality and schedule requirements across owners, construction managers, architects, subcontractors and company personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience developing new project opportunities.
• Proven experience running a P&L.
• Experience managing a team.
• Experience creating, presenting and managing bids and proposals.
• PM experience in M&E/FM/construction/critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and integrate technical activities in building systems upgrades, retrofits and new installations, ensuring scope, timelines and budget are clear.
• Interface with clients to define requirements and prepare plans, milestones and resource needs.
• Read and apply construction documents, including contracts, charters, specs and drawings.
• Direct and approve design changes to ensure proper installation requirements.
• Maintain project budgets and issue change orders for additional work.
• Create and maintain project schedules using MS Project or Excel.
• Coordinate paperwork including billing, pay apps and change orders with project admin.
• Attend progress meetings (virtual or in-person) and share notes with the team.
• Communicate with owners, managers, architects and other team members.
