Job summary

Macdonald & Company is partnering with a long-standing real-estate investment business in the West Midlands to recruit a Building Surveyor or Project Manager. You’ll oversee a mix of new build and refurbishment works across the portfolio, coordinating external consultants and contractors to meet specification, timescales and budget.

Job description

A long-standing and growing real-estate investment business is looking for a Building Surveyor or Project Manager to oversee a variety of new build and refurbishment works across its portfolio.

Based in the West Midlands, you'd be tasked with looking after a variety of projects across both residential and industrial sectors, using external consultants and contractors as necessary to ensure refurbishment and new-build works are completed on specification, on time and on budget.

Ideally coming from a Building Surveying background (but not necessarily), you should have commercial experience at consultancy or client-side already, and be happy to work autonomously as there is plenty to be getting on with. There will also be regular travel and overnight stays as needed, including overseas.
