Job summary

Arcus Consulting LLP in Liverpool seeks a recently qualified Building Surveyor to join our team. You will deliver Building Surveying services across the North, taking a lead on projects from initial planning through to completion.

You will liaise with clients, coordinate with professionals, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while preparing costed schemes and tender documents. Strong IT skills and AutoCAD proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Qualified or close to taking the RICS APC (Building Surveying Pathway).
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Strong organisational abilities and ability to prioritise workloads.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and building surveys/tender documentation.

Responsibilities

Interface with clients and build professional relationships to provide commercial advantage.
Liaise with project team and other professionals on site.
Maintain safety awareness on sites and ensure compliance with building regulations and design standards.
Advise clients on schemes, determine requirements including health and safety and Equality Act.
Prepare schemes with costings, timelines and works specifications.
Prepare tender documents and advise on contract procurement and contractor selection.
Carry out feasibility studies.
