Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor or Associate to accelerate your career within a respected global business. You will deliver contract administration, surveys, dilapidations, and project delivery across refurbishment and maintenance projects, while leading client relationships and mentoring junior surveyors.

Ideal candidates hold a Building Surveying degree with MRICS qualification or nearing chartership, strong reporting skills, and experience across multiple sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contract administration
• Building surveys and technical due diligence
• Dilapidations
• Defect analysis and reporting
• Refurbishment and maintenance projects
• Design and specification work
• Condition surveys
• Planned maintenance programmes
• Project delivery from inception through to completion
• Client relationship management
• Help shape the future of the Manchester team

At Associate level, you’ll also:

• Lead major commissions
• Develop client relationships
• Mentor and support junior surveyors
• Contribute to business growth initiatives

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS qualification, or are close to achieving chartership
• Experience delivering building surveying services across multiple sectors
• Strong technical and report-writing skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Commercial awareness and project delivery experience
• A collaborative and client-focused approach
• A desire to develop and progress your career, Experience within healthcare, education, local authority, commercial or mixed-use projects would be advantageous.
