Job summary

Currie & Brown in Exeter is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor/Associate to join a global consultancy with a strong project portfolio across public and private sectors.

You will manage contract administration, surveys, dilapidations, and defect analysis while delivering refurbishment and maintenance projects. The role offers hybrid working where possible and clear career progression within a leading firm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS qualification or close to achieving chartership.
• Experience delivering building surveying services across multiple sectors.
• Strong technical and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and project delivery experience.
• Collaborative and client-focused approach.
• Experience within healthcare, education, local authority, commercial or mixed-use projects would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration and condition surveys.
• Technical due diligence and dilapidations.
• Defect analysis, reporting and planned maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Contract administration

At Associate level, you'll also:
