Building Surveyor needed in Hereford Paying £26.72 per hr ref OR112083

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

• Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake building surveys, inspections, and condition assessments across the property portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with partner organisations to maintain building safety and compliance standards.
  • Support the delivery of capital projects in conjunction with the Project Management Office (PMO) team.
  • Provide professional advice on property maintenance, refurbishment, conservation, and development projects.
  • Act as Contract Administrator for a range of construction and maintenance projects.
  • Undertake the role of Principal Designer in accordance with CDM Regulations where appropriate.
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of work, procurement documentation, and project reports.
  • Manage project budgets, programmes, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful delivery.
  • Liaise with planning, conservation, and other council teams regarding property-related matters.
  • Contribute to the effective management of heritage assets, including Grade I and Grade II listed buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
  • Support the management of commercial and industrial property assets.
