A local authority trading company in Sunderland is seeking a candidate for a role focused on property surveys and project management. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, strong analytical skills, and hold either an HNC in construction or a degree in building surveying. The role involves giving technical advice, managing repairs, and conducting site inspections. A well-organized, self-motivated individual is essential to succeed in this supportive environment.
Sunderland Care and Support is a local authority trading company owned by Sunderland City Council, which provides a wide range of services to support vulnerable adults and children to lead the lives they choose. This is an opportunity to join a highly motivated and supportive team within the Home Improvement Agency. This team provides a service that supports customers to maintain, repair, adapt or extend their homes and manage projects in group homes or commercial buildings.
Candidates must have experience of working in the construction industry, a good knowledge of property repair, renovation, adaptation, excellent communication and analytical skills and one of the following:
The successful candidate must be a well organised self‑motivated individual who can work on their own initiative as well as being a part of the surveying team.
