Your new role

The building surveying team undertakes high-value instructions (the smallest project value being £500k). Main duties include:

1. Developing a client brief and preparing development strategies
2. Preparing risk registers, Gantt charts, and setting timelines
3. Managing processes through various RIBA stages and ensuring CDM regulation compliance
4. Procurement of suitable contractors for proposed work
5. Contract administration
6. Advising on repair and maintenance of all building types, including listed buildings

The role will suit a Building Surveyor who enjoys project management. There will also be some professional service work, including party wall work, measured surveys, and dilapidations. The business also offers expert witness services.

What you'll need to succeed

Due to the high-value multi-million-pound projects that the Assistant Building Surveyor will undertake, this role suits a Surveyor with experience in a commercial building surveying environment and studying towards their APC.
