Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Intermediate Building Services Engineer to join our UK Building Surveying team, based in the London and South East region with hybrid work options.

The role focuses on surveying, reports, and MEP services for commercial and light industrial projects. You’ll contribute to client management, bid activities, and continuous improvement while developing your career within a global infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications preferred, especially with electrical or mechanical trades.
• Experience in building surveying within commercial or light industrial environments.
• Progress toward professional qualifications or chartership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Survey and report writing for a full range of Building Surveying services.
• Assist with construction monitoring and snagging assessments.
• Work independently or with the team to meet client demands.
• Represent the company professionally in meetings with clients.
• Develop client relationships and win new work.
• Continuously improve processes and standards.
• Communicate effectively using MS Office.
• Be willing to work away from the office and potentially abroad.
