Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a time-served Mechanical biased Engineer for a large-scale building project in Greater Manchester. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and reactive tasks to ensure reliable building services.

You will complete PPM on mechanical systems, handle ad-hoc works and occasional report writing, and work outside standard hours when required. Applicants should hold City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in mechanical trades, be client facing, and trained in ACOP L8; we value

Qualifications

• City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, HAVAC installation and maintenance
• General building skills
• Prepared to work unsociable hours
• Client facing - able to communicate at all levels
• Trained in ACOP L8

Responsibilities

• Completion of PPM to all Mechanical elements of the building.
• Completion of reactive tasks as required / directed
• Completion of ad-hoc building services works
• Completion of quoted works both inside and outside of normal working hours
• Occasional report writing
• Observe and comply with company Health Safety & Environmental procedures.
• Be an ambassador for OCS, maintain their core values
• Be an ambassador for Somerset House & interaction with public.
• Carry out any further reasonable requests made by management
