Job summary

Acorn is seeking a Building Services Engineer to perform planned maintenance across client sites in North and North West London. The role requires a solid understanding of HVAC systems, independent workload management, and strong client-facing communication.

The successful candidate will hold mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence. Salary up to £44,000 plus overtime and callouts; 41.25 hours per week; company van and fuel card; 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience as Building Services or Maintenance Engineer.
• Solid understanding of HVAC, heating and ventilation systems.
• Ability to plan workloads and work independently.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of health and safety and site compliance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) across client sites in North and North West London.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver quality service.
• Contribute to long-term service delivery and client relationships.
