Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Building Services Manager for our Guildford club to oversee the whole site, from the building shell to surrounding grounds, and to manage facilities services.

The role requires an electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent) and hands-on experience with Building Management systems, emergency lighting testing, PAT, and water hygiene; success depends on leading a proactive, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification and knowledge of Building Management systems.
• Experience with emergency lighting testing, PAT, and water hygiene.
• Experience maintaining a large industrial facility.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the whole site – from the building shell to surrounding grounds.
• Maintain swimming pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation.
• Ensure queries and issues are dealt with securely and effectively, using an electronic CAFM system.
• Inspire the team to strive for constant improvement, leading by example.
• Use hands-on experience and technical skills to operate an effective preventative maintenance programme.
