Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a proactive Building Services Engineer to maintain our Shipley Fitness & Wellbeing Gym’s facilities, including pools, mechanical plant and HVAC systems. You will lead by example, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance across the site.

You will manage reactive maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and use the CAFM system to keep documentation up to date. A trades qualification is desirable, and pool plant knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Practical hands-on maintenance of pools, HVAC, plant and fabric.
• Electrical and mechanical skills with a proactive maintenance mindset.
• Ability to lead by example and improve team performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities including swimming pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation.
• Adhere to CAFM system and complete monthly PPM tasks.
• Assist in snagging with Property/Facilities and contractors.
• Manage reactive calls promptly to protect member experience.
• Follow SSOW/NOPs and COSHH guidelines for safety.
