Job summary

Randstad CPE is assisting in recruiting a Building Services/Technical Manager for a Tier 1 contractor near Reading, with the regional office near Slough. The role covers the M4 Corridor, Thames Valley and Oxfordshire, handling education, public sector, retail, leisure and commercial projects valued £20–£90 million.

You'll lead services packages across schemes, engage with bid/estimating teams at preconstruction, and work with design and commercial teams to ensure feasible, well-priced schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading building services packages on large schemes (education/public/retail).
• Involvement with preconstruction feasibility, programme times and buildability.
• Ability to manage on-site delivery and cradle-to-grave handover with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee services packages across multiple projects from preconstruction through delivery.
• Collaborate with design, commercial and estimation teams to establish best practice and pricing methods.
• On-site management of subcontractors during installation, commissioning and handover.
