Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Bid Manager to lead first-class tenders in the water sector. You will transform client requirements into compelling, compliant bids, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to win major projects.

The role offers opportunities to apply construction and civil engineering expertise in a dynamic work winning environment, with a focus on value-driven proposals, governance, and rigorous bid processes.

Qualifications

• AMP Foundation/Practitioner/Professional level desirable.
• Experience in a Tier 1 contractor, preferably within the water sector.
• Strong construction/civil engineering knowledge gained in a bidding, technical or operational role.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivering first-class tenders, leveraging internal teams to transform client requirements into compelling, compliant bids.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure compliant, value-driven submissions.
• Drive bid governance and ensure timely completion of tender responses.

You will take the lead on delivering first class tenders, leveraging our internal teams to transform our client requirements into compelling, compliant and value driven bids.

About you

• Association of Proposal Management Professionals (AMP); either Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level (desirable)
• Experience working within a Tier 1 contractor, preferably within the water sector
• Have strong construction/civil engineering knowledge gained in a Bidding, Technical or Operational role.
• Ability to successfully communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
