Job summary

Acorn Limited is seeking a Building Services Engineer to perform planned preventative maintenance across various sites in Central London and surrounding areas. This role requires strong knowledge of M&E building services, HVAC systems, and good communication skills.

The position offers a salary of up to £44,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus overtime. Acorn promotes a collaborative and professional environment, supporting career advancement.

Qualifications

• Candidates must live within a commutable distance that allows travel to Central London within one hour during rush hour.
• Experience with HVAC plant including air conditioning, boilers, controls, heating and ventilation systems.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM, servicing and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Respond to call-outs during normal working hours and participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota.
• Communicate clearly with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery.

Education

City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Time-served mechanical or maintenance engineer (apprenticeship preferred)
