Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join our team across multiple locations including Northamptonshire, Cambridge, King's Lynn, Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Luton.

The role offers training, progression opportunities and a supportive environment to develop your career. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, liaise with the Contracts Manager, and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services or facilities management.
• Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and current legislation.
• Strong communication skills and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults and repairs.
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager to ensure contract conditions are met.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Monitor and report on maintenance activity and QA inspections.

We're on the lookout for a passionate Building Services Engineer to join our dynamic team across various locations including Northamptonshire, Cambridge, King's Lynn, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, and Luton.

Job Details Location: Multiple locations in the region

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

What Will You Be Responsible For?

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and undertaking repairs
• Liaising with the Contracts Manager to ensure all contract conditions are met
• Building strong client relationships through clear communication
• Monitoring helpdesk jobs and ensuring quality assurance inspections are completed
• Attending meetings with senior management and clients, and completing reports as required

Requirements and Experience

• Have practical experience in building services or facilities management
• Hold a recognised apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent qualification
• Possess knowledge of statutory requirements and current legislation
• Are a strong communicator with a professional, flexible attitude
• Hold a Full driving licence
