Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join our team across multiple locations, including Northamptonshire, Cambridge, King's Lynn, Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Luton. Hours are 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with no sponsorship available.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across sites, diagnose faults, and drive quality and compliance. The role emphasizes client relationships, reporting, and coordination with the Contracts Manager.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in building services or facilities management.
• Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and current legislation.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude.
• Hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and repair.
• Liaise with Contracts Manager to ensure contract conditions are met.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Monitor helpdesk jobs and ensure QA inspections are completed.
• Attend meetings with senior management and clients and prepare reports.

What Will You Be Responsible For?
