Job summary

Acorn Limited in Watford is looking for a qualified building services electrical engineer to manage planned and reactive maintenance at the Atria Shopping Centre.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, a City & Guilds qualification, and experience in a maintenance environment. Acorn Limited supports the development of its employees and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified with City & Guilds in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of building services and fault finding.
• Practical knowledge of Health & Safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance as per HVAC specifications.
• Ensure engineering standards for operational effectiveness.
• Attend site emergencies outside of working hours.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Electrical Installation / Maintenance (City & Guilds)

IEE 18th Edition

Proven mechanical/electrical skills

Knowledge of building services

Problem solving

Health & Safety qualification

BMS controls

Air conditioning experience

Education

GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
