Job summary

Hoare Lea is a leading UK building services engineering consultancy offering an Apprentice opportunity across electrical, mechanical or digital design. You will be exposed to healthcare, hotels, retail and residential sectors while producing designs, using modern modelling tools, and collaborating with project teams and clients.

You will receive mentoring, study leave toward a BSc/BEng Building Services Engineering, and a structured path to IEng status.

Qualifications

• Meet university entry requirements as outlined in the advert.
• Interest in pursuing a career in building services engineering.
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed designs and drawings.
• Using the latest computer modelling software.
• Having regular meetings with project teams, clients or end users.
• Preparing engineering system designs on computers.
• Writing specifications.
• Monitoring progress on construction sites.
