Hoare Lea is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer - Degree Apprentice in Cardiff. You will rotate through building services disciplines, producing detailed designs, and using modelling software as you work toward a BSc/BEng Building Services Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Meet university entry requirements (A levels or BTEC) as listed.
• Strong Maths and science background preferred.
• Interest in building services engineering.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed designs and drawings.
• Using the latest computer modelling software.
• Regular meetings with project teams, clients or end users.
• Preparing engineering system designs on computers.
• Writing specifications.
• Monitoring progress on construction sites.
