Building Services Course Leader & Lecturer
Location: Newbury, Berkshire
Salary: £30,160 - £39,034 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week
The Role
- Deliver engaging teaching across Building Services Engineering programmes, including T Levels.
- Inspire and support learners preparing for careers within the construction and building services industry.
- Share current industry knowledge, standards and best practice through engaging lessons.
- Plan and develop high-quality teaching, learning and assessment materials.
- Monitor learner progress and provide guidance to maximise achievement.
- Lead and support the development of the Building Services curriculum.
- Maintain accurate course records and documentation.
- Work closely with employers and industry partners to ensure programmes reflect industry needs.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant discipline.
- Strong industry experience within Building Services Engineering, Electrical Installation or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Passion for supporting and developing learners.
- Strong organisational skills and a commitment to high standards.
