Job Description: Building Surveyor / Senior Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Building Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our dynamic team. As a Building Surveyor, you will contribute to the success of various projects within our organisation. Responsibilities:

Assess Building Control and warranty applications, negotiate with developers, coordinate inspections, and support our team with expert advice and review of complex building elements.

Key requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations, building technology, and technical training
• Experience with structural defects, claims, engineering, NHBC Standards, and site inspections
• Relevant building/construction experience in housing and commercial sectors
• Understanding of building pathology
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to develop your role
• Full driving license

Qualifications:

• Working towards or holding chartered membership of a professional institution (e.g., MCIOB, CABE)
• Construction-related qualifications such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent
