Your Housing Group is seeking a Building Safety Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join its Building & Fire Safety Team. The role combines home working with travel to buildings across the portfolio to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and related regulations.

Salary ranges from £60,000 to £65,000, with a 35-hour week, and a focus on resident safety and engagement. You will work with a colleague, the Building Safety Lead, and the Asset Team to deliver robust safety

Qualifications

• Experience managing building safety within high-rise/complex residential buildings.
• Strong understanding of the Building Safety & Fire Safety Acts and related guidance.
• Confident working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and improve Building Safety Cases and the Golden Thread of Information.
• Provide assurance that building safety risks are identified, managed and mitigated.
• Lead on regulatory obligations under Building Safety & Fire Safety Acts and related guidance.
• Deliver resident safety engagement and ensure residents are informed and able to participate.
• Monitor safety performance, oversee remediation and external wall assessment actions through completion.
