Michael Page is recruiting a Building Operations Manager for the Manchester area to oversee operational building management, facilities and tenant relations across a portfolio of properties. The role demands an organised, proactive professional who can ensure smooth, compliant service delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year's experience in operational building management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in financial management and budget monitoring.
• Health & Safety training (IOSH/NEBOSH) - desirable.
• IWFM qualification - desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for tenants, fostering positive relationships and resolving queries.
• Manage the day-to-day management of the buildings and facilities effectively.
• Coordinate tenant meetings, variation requests, and new work approvals.
• Manage room bookings and maximise space utilisation.
• Support compliance processes, health & safety, and fire risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, contact lists, and security records.
• Promote available space and facilitate site visits for prospective tenants.
• Encourage community engagement and health campaigns within sites.
