Job summary

Arcadis is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience designing mechanical systems within buildings to join our Places Design Practice. You’ll deliver elegant and efficient mechanical design solutions on exciting projects across sectors including Industrial Manufacturing, Defence and Education.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, prepare drawings, specifications and reports, and support the project from concept through to construction.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Evidence of working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng).
• Experience designing mechanical systems within buildings.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate designs.
• Ensure activities meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives.
