Job summary

RGR is seeking a Building Fabric Surveyor/Estimator based near Sutton, Greater London, with frequent travel across the South East. You will visit client sites to survey works and prepare detailed estimates for a range of building fabric projects in commercial settings.

The role requires confidence in quoting large and small works and strong IT capabilities. Salary ranges from £50,000 to £55,000, with a company car and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of building fabric disciplines (carpentry, roofing, plumbing, tiling, etc).
• Experience surveying, estimating and quoting these works in commercial environments.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with CAFM/estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed estimates and quotes for building fabric projects from £1,000 up to £250,000+.
• Visit client sites to carry out initial surveys and generate quotes.
• Quote on small works (£1,000–£25,000) quickly using the CAFM system.
