Job summary

Tech-People is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our mobile team covering sites in London and the surrounding areas. The role involves performing PPMs on electrical plant and basic mechanical tasks on building systems, pumps, FCUs and AHUs.

You will also assist with reactive repairs, basic plumbing, and some electrical work, working Monday to Friday. Candidates should live within a commutable distance to Central London and have an electrical or mechanical qualification; a can-do

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out PPMs on electrical plant and basic mechanical tasks on building systems.
• Ability to carry out basic electrical tasks and basic plumbing when needed.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cover mobile sites within London and surrounding areas.
• Carrying out PPMs on electrical plant and basic mechanical tasks on building systems (pumps, FCUs, AHUs).
• Assist in completing reactive repairs on mechanical systems and basic plumbing when required.
• Carry out basic electrical tasks as needed.
• Work Monday to Friday.

Fabric Engineer - London

A leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor who specialise in providing building maintenance and servicing have a key requirement for an experienced Fabric Building Maintenance Engineer to join their mobile team role covering sites within London and the surrounding areas

As the Fabric Engineer, you will be:

• Fabric Engineer will be mobile covering sites within London and the surrounding areas
• Fabric Engineer will be carrying out PPM's on electrical plant as well as completing basic mechanical tasks on building systems, pumps, actuators, FCU's, AHU's.
• Fabric Engineer will assist in completing reactive and repairs on mechanical systems and will also be required to carry out basic plumbing when needed.
• Fabric Engineer will be required to carry out basic electrical tasks.
• Fabric Engineer will be working Monday - Friday

As the Fabric Engineer, you will need:

• Fabric Engineer will need to live within a commutable distance to Central London
• Fabric Engineer with an Electrical or Mechanical qualification would be an advantage
• Fabric Engineer will need to have a "can do" attitude and willing to learn new skills
• Fabric Engineer will need experience in carrying out PPM's and basic reactive works on both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Fabric Engineer will be paid up to £40k, dependent on experience + overtime + training + package
