Job summary

Thrive SW is seeking a Building Fabric Engineer to cover Nottingham and surrounding areas. This role is a mobile, field-based position within a leading facilities management provider. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial sites, delivering reliable building fabric repairs.

Key tasks include carpentry, basic plumbing, painting and decorating, and general DIY. Strong customer service and a full UK driving licence are essential; a company van is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar multi-trade/fabric maintenance role
• Strong practical skills and a can-do attitude
• Carpentry or multi-trade background
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Are you a Multi-Skilled / Multi-Trade Engineer looking for a secure mobile role?

We are working with a leading Facilities Management provider who is expanding their team and looking for a Building Fabric Engineer to cover commercial sites across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, carrying out general building fabric repairs across a variety of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carpentry - doors, locks and general woodwork
• Basic plumbing - taps, toilets and basins
• Painting and decorating - making good and touch-ups
• General DIY and building repairs
• Planned and reactive maintenance

What We’re Looking For
