Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mobile Building Fabric Engineer to cover a portfolio of sites across Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire. The role focuses on building fabric maintenance with duties in carpentry, plumbing and related repairs.

The ideal candidate will hold City and Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing, with additional trades experience. The position is Monday to Friday with a basic salary of £38k and benefits including pension and sick pay.

Qualifications

• Qualified trades person with City and Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing.
• Experience across other trades such as painting, patch plastering, tiling considered assets.
• Previous multi-skilled trades work essential; no training provided at start.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric across multiple sites.
• Carpentry, plumbing and general repairs (leaks, doors, locks, repairs).
• Involvement in small/major works and refurbishments (rooms, offices, doors, sinks).
• Support floor upgrades and general maintenance tasks.

Are you a Multi Trades Maintenance / Building Fabric Engineer looking for a new role as a mobile engineering position.

Do you have either Carpentry or Plumbing experience / qualifications with other trade skills such as painting, patch plastering, Tiling if so this role could be great for you.

Working for one of the regions leading Facilities Services providers as mobile fabric engineer you will cover a portfolio of sites across the Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire areas dealing with all aspects of Building Fabric Maintenance

Duties will be Planned and Reactive Maintenance all aspects of building fabrics including Carpentry, Plumbing and general repairs such as - Fixing leaks, doors, locks, and making good areas of repairs.

Small and Minor works projects which you may be involved in - Refurbishments to rooms, offices Replacing like for like doors, locks, sinks, basins, toilets. Floor upgrades

Ideally you will be a qualified trades person with either City and Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing with good skills with other trades and DIY Tasks, we are however open to time served trades people and general builders looking to get more into the maintenance industry.

Previous Multi Skilled Trades works is essential as no training will be given to start, development of skills will be offered once settle and passed probation.
