Job summary

Whiteoak Associates, Reading-based, seeks two Contracts Managers with design or project engineering experience in building envelope/structural steel. Role blends design coordination, value engineering, project management and commercial oversight, working with clients, in-house designers, production engineers and subcontractors.

Hybrid role: office in Reading, with home and client-site work; autonomy across each project and strong influence on delivery from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Background in design and/or project engineering within building envelope or structural steel.
• Experience in architectural metalwork or high-rise residential sectors.
• Ability to coordinate design, value engineering, and project management.
• Commercial awareness and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and installation across projects.
• Manage projects from concept through completion.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, production engineers and subcontractors.
