Job summary

Whiteoak Associates is urgently seeking a Commercial Manager based in Reading. The role is hands-on, spanning pre-contract to project delivery, working with Sales, Design, Production and Project Management teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QS/Commercial/Estimating/Contract Administration, with strong financial controls, procurement and contract negotiation experience. Competitive package includes car/allowance, bonus, pension, private medical, life insurance and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QS/Commercial/Estimating/Contract Administration background.
• Comfortable with financial management and procurement of contracts.
• Managing project budgets and implementing financial controls.
• Contract administration and commercial reporting.
• Reviewing & negotiating contract terms and conditions.
• Experience in contractor, principal contractor or construction manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Involved from pre-contract stage through to project delivery.
• Work closely with Sales, Design, Production & Project Management teams.
• Support commercial stakeholders within principal contractors and clients.
• Prepare and manage commercial reports and financial controls for projects.
