University of Bath is seeking a Building Controls Supervisor to ensure the effective operation and support of our building controls systems, including BMS, lighting and energy monitoring. You will provide expert knowledge and hands-on support for development and reactive maintenance, ensuring planned works are completed safely and on time.

You will collaborate with workshop supervisors, engineers and managers to minimise downtime, improve efficiency and boost end-user satisfaction across campus

Qualifications

• recognised City & Guilds or NVQ 3 apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering Maintenance
• IET 18th Edition
• experience maintaining, repairing and installing BMS/automated controls
• experience working with skilled operatives and contractors
• experience working safely on electrical installations
• knowledge of health and safety regulations (COSHH, PUWER, Electricity at Work)
• qualification in BMS/automated controls related subjects (Schneider Sigma, Eco Struxture, Tridium Niagra)

• Ensure effective operation and support of the University's controls systems (BMS, lighting, energy monitoring)
• Provide expert knowledge, guidance and hands-on support for development and reactive maintenance of BMS
• Ensure planned works are completed safely, efficiently and on time
