Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a highly organised Building Controller and Technical Clerk for a landmark environmental project at Sellafield, Cumbria. The role runs on a 4 days on/4 days off shift, with hours 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am, and £21 per hour umbrella.

You will manage the pager, open/close the building, coordinate with the Contractors Control room, run drills, maintain paperwork, support emergencies as Deputy, act as First Aider and Fire Warden, and handle document control via EDMS and

Qualifications

• Experience in a Commissioning Document Control department.
• IOSH Working Safely qualification.
• BPSS security clearance is strictly essential.
• Experience with SharePoint or Convero for document control.
• Understanding of SL document control systems.
• Building Controller training course completed.
• Two-day First Aid and Fire Warden training completed.

Responsibilities

• Manage Building Controller pager during shift and related tasks.
• Open and close the building responsibly.
• Sign in/out with Contractors Control room and report personnel numbers.
• Conduct weekly and monthly drills and maintain paperwork.
• Act as Deputy during site emergencies; assist in drills; serve as First Aider and Fire Warden.
• Count and coordinate respirators.
• Produce, control and maintain Commissioning Life Time Records.
• Copy, scan and store documents in the EDMS.
• Retrieve files for project personnel and perform admin duties.
