Job summary

Meridian Consult, part of the Celnor Group, is recruiting a Building Control Surveyor in Manchester to join the Field Team. You will inspect sites, review plans, advise clients and manage multiple projects throughout the design and construction process.

Qualifications

• Registered Building Inspector Class 1, Class 2A or above, or working towards registration
• Experience within Building Control, warranty surveying or a related discipline
• Good understanding of Building Regulations and associated legislation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Undertake site inspections and assess compliance with Building Regulations
• Review plans, specifications and supporting documentation
• Provide technical advice to clients, contractors and design teams
• Prepare reports and correspondence relating to inspections and plan assessments
• Manage a portfolio of projects across a variety of sectors
• Support clients throughout the design and construction process
