Meridian Consult is seeking an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join our Field Team in Stafford and surrounding areas. The role focuses on site inspections, plan assessments, and providing technical guidance through diverse projects.

We value RBI registration progression, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach. The role supports ongoing professional development within the Building Control discipline.

Qualifications

• Registered Building Inspector Class 1, Class 2A or higher or working towards registration.
• Experience in Building Control, warranty surveying or related discipline.
• Good understanding of Building Regulations and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site inspections and assess compliance with Building Regulations.
• Review plans, specifications and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical advice to clients, contractors and design teams.
• Prepare reports and correspondence relating to inspections and plan assessments.
• Manage a portfolio of projects across a variety of sectors.
• Support clients throughout the design and construction process.
