Job summary

WYPF is recruiting a fully qualified Building Control Surveyor to join our Bradford-based team. You will work on Building Regulations, Dangerous Structures and Safety at Sports Grounds, with a varied and challenging workload.

The successful candidate will be a Associate/Corporate member of RICS, ABE, CIOB (or equivalent) and licensed with the Building Safety Regulator as a RBI Class 2A, progressing to Class 2F, with opportunities for career development, generous leave, flexi time, and access to

• Fully qualified Building Control Surveyor with professional level experience.
• Member of RICS/ABE/CIOB (or equivalent) as required.
• Licensed with Building Safety Regulator as RBI Class 2A, progressing to Class 2F.

Bradford is the fourth largest Metropolitan District in England and is currently experiencing an increase in construction activity.

Over recent years we have invested heavily in a career development structure and a programme of staff training in order to secure a sustainable future for our service.

We are currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Building Control Surveyor to enter our career structure at the upper scales. You will therefore have demonstrable experience working at a professional, technical level for a Building Control Body, be a Associate/Corporate member of RICS, ABE, CIOB (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate that you meet all the relevant job competences.

Candidates should also be licensed with the Building Safety Regulator as a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) to Class 2A, progressing to Class 2F
