West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a Building Control Officer to support site inspections, plan vetting/approval and supervision of building works in line with Building Regulations.

The role demands a Registered Building Inspector Class 2A (or 2A/2C) qualification and a commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be Registered Building Inspector Class 2A or 2A/2C.
• Experience with building regulations and allied legislation.

Responsabilités

• Assist with site inspections, plan vetting/approval and supervision of building work.
• Provide a professional Building Control service for West Northamptonshire Council.
• Ensure Building Control is recognised as delivering an excellent service to customers.

To work for West Northamptonshire Council as a Building control officer

• To assist with the site inspection, plan vetting/approval and supervision of building work, which relates to the Building Regulations and allied legislation and to provide a professional Building Control service.
• To ensure that WNC Building Control is recognised as delivering an excellent service for all our customers.
• MUST - Registered Building Inspector Class 2A or 2A/2C
• £60-70per hour 37 hours per week Surveyor will work remotely but may be asked on occasions (once a month) to come into office.
