Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Finance & E‑Commerce Controller to oversee the marketing budget lifecycle, including approvals, forecasting, accruals and P&L alignment across regions. The role demands strong analytical ability, cross‑functional collaboration and process discipline.

You will coordinate budget allocations, maintain documentation and ensure adherence to financial policies while supporting Hyperion, Oracle R12 and Salesforce ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in eCommerce / finance is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial operations and eCommerce platforms.
• Experience managing budget allocation and optimisation would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage marketing spend approvals through the RFA process and validate alignment with budgets, strategy, and approved workplans before PO commitment
• Support and coordinate monthly forecasting for central marketing budget owners
• Support quarterly accrual management, validating open POs and accrual balances
• Allocate and code marketing actuals across cost centres, projects, and campaigns
• Resolve discrepancies between forecasts, actuals, and accruals
• Manage Original and Revised Budget submissions for central marketing in Hyperion
• Enforce financial policies, approval frameworks, and control standards
• Maintain documentation and traceability for RFAs, POs, forecasts, accruals, and actuals
• Expand and maintain E-Commerce summary and operating P&Ls by region, product group, and country
• Support E-Commerce RFA, PO, and invoicing processes
• Take on project management responsibilities for Digital Strategy and Operations teams
• Prepare internal and external audit documentation
• Partner with Finance teams in CEL, CENV, and offshore to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in eCommerce / finance
• Strong understanding of financial operations and eCommerce platforms
• Experience managing budget allocation and optimisation would be beneficial
• Systems experience in Oracle R12, OBIE, Hyperion and Salesforce would be beneficial
• Proficiency in using Excel, Powerpoint and other relevant software
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
