Job summary

Valtech is seeking a Technical Director – BU CTO with a strong architectural authority and partner-facing influence. You will own the technology vision across the client BU, engage with editors and hyperscalers, and drive innovation in luxury, retail, and data-driven experiences.

You will lead a cross-divisional community of SMEs and architects, set standards, and ensure security, scalability, and future-proofing in collaboration with the client Tech COE and Valtech leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CTO, Chief Architect, or senior technology leader in a large, multi-domain environment.
• Deep architecture expertise across front, data & integration, back and ERP, and cloud.
• Demonstrated ownership of technology-partner and hyperscaler relationships.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year technology vision and target architecture across the BU stack.
• Lead the SME and architect community across divisions and territories.
• Manage strategic technology-partner relationships and joint roadmaps with editors and hyperscalers.
• Define competency standards, certification paths, and a shared knowledge base for the technical community.
• Represent Valtech technology in BU governance forums and with client CIOs.
• Provide thought leadership on AI/GenAI trends and their business value.
