Valtech is seeking a Solution Architect specializing in Adobe Commerce to shape technical vision for complex digital commerce platforms. You will translate requirements into scalable architectures and guide cross-functional teams from concept to launch, with autonomy over your area and influence across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, support pre-sales, and collaborate with global teams, delivering robust commerce solutions for clients while staying ahead of industry developments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead with Adobe Commerce / Magento.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce architecture: catalog, checkout, payments, order management, and integrations.
• Solid PHP and Magento/Adobe Commerce stack skills with customization and extensions.
• Experience designing scalable, secure solutions for high-traffic commerce environments.
• Ability to communicate trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Track record leading multi-stakeholder delivery programs.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of Adobe Commerce architectures for large-scale implementations.
• Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met within time, budget, risk, and licensing constraints.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and communicate decisions clearly.
• Ensure product quality against architectural requirements through code reviews.
• Mentor engineers and architects and collaborate with the global Valtech developer community.
• Support pre-sales and delivery teams with architecture, estimation, and solution demonstrations.
• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate target architecture across multiple projects and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Monitor Adobe Commerce ecosystem developments and advise adoption where relevant.
