BSL Trained Teaching Assistant Birmingham

This fantastic Birmingham based Secondary school is looking for a BSL Level 3 trained Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with hearing impairment along with other moderate learning disabilities including autism. The post will be supporting a small group of children, and will also involve one to one support with students who need additional support. The post will be communicating mainly via BSL and needs a hard working and naturally caring individual.

This is a great opportunity to join this school on a day to day basis with a view to enjoying a long-term opportunity.

To become part of this team you will need to be:

1. An experienced TA with BSL Level 2 and above
2. A warm and caring individual who truly puts the children first
3. Able to provide support to children with hearing impairment and other challenges
4. A lovely individual with a sunny disposition and a friendly smile
5. Able to work effectively as part of a team
