Job summary

The Barnett Hotel in New Orleans is seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Server to deliver warm, efficient service to guests. You will take orders, input them into the POS, and ensure accurate delivery of food and beverages while upholding brand standards. Prior hospitality experience is preferred.

You will greet guests, make recommendations, and help maintain a smooth dining room operation throughout service shifts, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing warm, efficient, and knowledgeable service to guests. This role takes food and beverage orders, delivers items accurately, maintains table cleanliness, and ensures an exceptional dining experience while upholding company and brand standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.
