Job summary

Gallagher in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Trading Advisor to deliver exceptional service to brokers and support trading operations within insurance. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, update records, and ensure policy requirements are met promptly.

You will run reports, chase outstanding requirements, collaborate with accounts to reduce aged debt, process claims cover requests, and help maintain high satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service or call-handling in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls professionally, delivering friendly and efficient service.
• Act as a reliable contact for brokers, providing excellent customer service.
• Run reports using internal systems to identify outstanding actions and follow up on new and renewal business.
• Collaborate with accounts team to help reduce aged debt.
• Process claims cover requests and ensure service standards are met.
• Manage team mailboxes and ensure timely responses and task completion.
• Update internal systems with call notes, policy details and documentation.
• Chase brokers for outstanding policy requirements and escalate when needed.
• Adhere to regulatory, compliance and internal quality standards.
• Assist with policy trading activities following company procedures.
• Contribute to improving customer satisfaction metrics.
